Saturday, my mom and I finally booked the photographer for the wedding!

This is such a relief for me because this has been on my list for a long time.

We went with the photographer that did my sisters wedding and my friends sister-in-law. I liked the pictures of my sisters wedding and I think they will do a great job for us. They've also been around a long time and have a lot of experience shooting weddings. I'm so excited!

Also, while we were there the photographer was showing us a sample of a preview album and just happened to pull out an example that was full of pictures from my sisters wedding. It was so cool to see their pictures randomly in this book.

The next big decision is which dj to go with. Any suggestions?

Finally

So, I started my final semester at Biola University on Monday and I am so grateful to be back.

Interterm was so crazy for me and I wasn't really able to do any wedding planning because of the other obligations that I was already committed to. Now that I'm back at school though, I feel like I can finally relax a little and really get some wedding stuff done.

This weekend I am going to reserve/schedule a photographer (hopefully, lol)

Bridesmaid dress shopping

So, last Saturday My three sisters, my mom, and two of my other bridesmaids went to David's Bridal and looked around at bridesmaid dresses. I had already decided that I was going to pick the color and the length and then let the girls pick their own style. I told the girls that the dresses were going to be Guava (tropical pink) and floor length and then sent them on their way to pick out the style that they wanted to wear.

Well, after trying on a bunch of different styles all five of the girls that were there decided on two styles, so I decided to have three girls in one style and three girls in the other style. It actually worked out pretty well. There will still be different styles, but also a sense of unity. I think they will all look amazing.

One of my bridesmaids wasn't able to make it that Saturday so I still need to go back with her to get her dress size and have her try the dress on and order it, but other than that I can check that off the list until we do a fitting sometime in May.
